Must have the ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as order tickets, recipes, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Must undergo and successfully pass a background investigation to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Morongo Gaming Agency. Plus two (2) to three (3) years of experience in a position with experience equivalent to a Cook II. Certification from a Culinary Institution strongly preferred. Ability to develop and maintain a pleasant and effective working relationship with staff and guests. Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures. Knowledge of maintenance and care of culinary facilities, equipment, supplies and materials.

Skill in professional cooking, knife handling skills, and preparing a variety of foods. Performs other job related duties as assigned.Bus, clean and set tables when and if necessary.Wash dishes, weep/mop floors, take out trash.Utilizes proper/approved cleaning materials and solutions.Provide timely service, coordinating work with back-of-the-house employees and other co-workers.Provides a safe, comfortable, enjoyable and clean dining environment for guests.
